Ken Ivory wins election to the Utah house

New district name, same result. Ken Ivory goes back to the Utah Legislature.

Ken Ivory is going back to the state legislature to represent West Jordan as the representative from the 39th house district. This will mark Ivory’s fifth term in the state house.

He represented the 47th district from 2011-2019, before resigning in August of 2019 to focus full time on his work. Ivory was reappointed in November 2021 to fill a vacancy created when former Representative Steve Christiansen resigned.

Ivory said he was running for office to “cut taxes and rollback federal overreach so you can decide right here in Utah what to do with your money and how you choose to pursue happiness.”
